Hello Friends,

You may have noticed that the web site has not been updated for a while. We have had some technical problems including a complete computer crash. Hopefully everything has been fixed.

The new class schedule is ready. I tried to make it convenient for those working a job and for those that don’t like to go out at night. If you see a class that you would like to take but the timing doesn’t fit your busy life, just let us know. We’ll be happy to set up a class for you.

We have started a couple Block of the Month programs. Right now we have Table Runners and the Red Work embroidered birds. Samples are in the shop and the class schedule has more information.

Many of you have asked for an evening get together. I have set aside the 1st and 3rd Wednesday Night of each month 5:30pm – 7:30 pm. Bring something to work on or just come for an evening of socializing, it’s up to you. Enjoy a snack and lively conversation. There’s no cost, just a girl’s night out. I couldn’t leave out the day people, so I have set aside the same days for you but a different time, 10 am – noon.

The shop has a new look. Yarn now has its own room. The Tuesday morning group likes the cozy feel. They say “it’s like getting a yarn hug.” All the supplies for embroidery, cross stitch, silk ribbon and punch needle are now in the same row. The fabric selection has grown to fill the new space. The shop is nice and full, we have more fabric than ever before.

You can still drop of any fabric or yarn that you are not going to use. It gets passed along to groups that make things for the community. They appreciate all the donations. If you have a group that would like to be on the list for donations, please let me know.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone for supporting Lynda’s. We have been open for 6 years now and it wouldn’t have happened without all of you. Thank you so much. I hope that I can continue to meet your needs as a shop and friend,
